Five unique coffees from Yemen

We finally succeeded: We have received coffee from Yemen - despite major challenges in a troubled Middle East.

Look forward to tasting these five truly unique, high-quality coffees. Natural coffees from microlots in the sun-drenched and dry Yemeni mountains:

Talabah coffee with a cupping score of 86.9 and a flavor profile featuring notes of caramel, nuts, dark chocolate, and tobacco.

Mabroum coffee, which is a peaberry selection of the cherries that develop only one pea-shaped seed, making it more acidic and fruity in taste. It has a cupping score of 87.5 and a flavor profile featuring notes of lemon/lime, cinnamon, caramel, and chocolate.

Dawairi coffee with a cupping score of 86.4 and a flavor profile featuring notes of dark chocolate, butter, malt, and nuts.

Ja'aidi coffee with a very high cupping score of 90.75 and a flavor profile featuring notes of hazelnut, pomegranate, grape, and flowers. Clean and full-bodied with low acidity.

And finally, Khawlani coffee, which originates from one of the areas in Yemen hardest hit by the conflict. It has a cupping score of 86.1 and a flavor profile featuring notes of chocolate, cream, malt, and dark sugar.

They are all lightly omni-roasted according to gentle and customized roast profiles and can be used for both filter and espresso. They also create work and income in good businesses in an extremely poor and conflict-ridden Yemen.

Thank you for shopping for peace.

Kind regards,
