Give Afghan women a job

We have just received a large new shipment of goods from Afghanistan! Delicious Kishmish raisins, Jalghoza pine nuts, Parwan walnuts, Chapa namak, five types of almonds, and much more. These are unique, high-quality products
- and they have been processed and packaged by Afghan women!
During the five years that the Taliban have been in power, women have seen their opportunities dwindle. However, private businesses are the exception. Here, women are allowed to work. At Ziba Foods, they drive around in minibuses in the morning to pick up the women, as they are not permitted to drive themselves. They have received new work uniforms. But they continue to work hard. Many of them are single breadwinners, and they do not give up. And the Taliban acknowledge that women are needed to create growth and jobs.
Companies like Ziba Foods therefore represent "islands of change" where women are given a chance. And many private companies also ensure that their daughters receive an education—informally or online. This is crucial for creating the Afghanistan of the future.
Our almonds, nuts, and dried fruits from Afghanistan are not just top quality. They also make a contribution to the rights and opportunities of Afghan women!
Thank you for shopping for peace.
Best regards,
